Man Shot Dead on Streets of Tuol Kork

Post by prahocalypse now »

A man was shot dead on St. 234 in Tuol Kork. The cops don't know the identity of the killers or their motive. As could be expected, the crime scene with its dead and bleeding body attracted a large crowd of local rubberneckers.

These days they are much the same in protection from "prosecution" .

I still say that this new wave of imported crap will be tolerated until one of the "families" is affected by them.

Khmer news sources also describe the victim as a drug user whose outbreaks of violence would disturb the peace.

Fruit vendor gunned down at Neak Meas market in Tuol Kork
September 24, 2018
A 28-year-old fruit vendor at the Neak Meas market was shot dead yesterday by an unknown gunman who fled the scene on a motorbike, Tuol Kork district police said.

Captain Sok Vannak, deputy chief of the district’s criminal investigations department, identified the victim as Thi Thou, a fruit vendor and a suspected drug user who often argued with other people at the market.

Cap Vannak said the victim was shot four times in the head at about 5am near the market on Street 234 in Phsar Doeum Kor commune.

He added that according to witnesses, the victim was sitting alone in front of the market when the gunman walked up to him and pulled the trigger multiple times.
