The God Squad is in Town

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Isn't what these clowns are doing illegal? Proselytizing?
Don’t believe so.
I think it is specifically proselytising to children that isn’t allowed.

Cambodia does have freedom of religion after all....

They guy who used to work next door to me was brought up devout Christian in his orphanage but still went off to be a monk. I guess they're not mutually exclusive.

Would everyone be complaining less if a minaret was set up and loudspeakers blaring five times a day calling the faithful to worship?

Despite I'm not religious at all, I believe in freedom of religion, but missionary activity's is arrogant, respect less and a insult for people of a different religion.
There are people who cannot imagine that there are other ways of life than their own life.

Those people are part of worldwide cult. I replied to the link, and they e mailed me back. They asked me where in London I wanted to worship. All four options they gave me are the same places as this cult from Brazil.

He is wrong about the begging, I have never seen one, I live up the road from the huge place mentioned, they sing and give out expensive magazines and flyers on Sundays but thats about it, they still fucking annoy me!
