I almost missed this one.

Spanish strawberries, YUK. We had a fantastic fruit and veg market in Fuengirolla where we used to shop during our winter months in Spain. The oranges were fantastic but the strawberries? inedible. Bright red, hard as nails and no flavour at all.

We have a Spaniard with interests in land here in Osoam.
As I understand it he is partners with a Khmer and they were growing strawberries here, using some kind of remote control management to their workers, touched up with the occasional visit to oversee their investment.
Apparently that didn't work. Don't quite know why regardless of a nice press release in the Post....
They then decided 30 000 pineapples would be the go and....
Guess what?
No market!
Currently the land seems very quiet.
