I believe I have seen those words elsewhere, but it little matters. It takes less time to fall in love than it does to fall out of it. Love endures even when pain persists.Duncan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 10:19 amCambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.taabarang wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 8:09 am It happens all too often in our village. Cambodian values lend themselves to the old American "keeping up with the Jones" syndrome. The family rice plot is sold for next to nothing for a new moto, color TV or karaoke machine. Not long afterwards mom and dad discover they no longer have the means to break even and borrow from a credit union or local Shylock, plunging themselves further in debt and eventually lose the house. Then it's off to Thailand and any non productive kids are left with relatives. Parents go broke and families get broken.
The Cambodia I fell in love with no longer exists.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

One hypothetical question. How somebody can buy reposes property / farms in Cambodia? In other country there is adds in the newspaper, auctions, and sell of true banks.

Why is that a bad business model? Picking up land for a fraction of the value whilst also receiving interest payments for a period of timebangkokhooker wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 10:24 am There’s a big difference between authorized loans from MiFi and village loan sharks.
MiFi do not want to take land. That’s not a very good business model.
Think about it.
