Everyone seems to be on Karma Power 1, even the older blow hards, so I am not sure what it is.

Nah, you're at 25. I'm at a few hundred.
That's Karma. not Karma Power. KP is a separate item.

I got confused initially on that one.
Interesting, I never knew about karma power.

Regarding karma, I find it instructive to consider the ratio of posts to karma. That gives a better illustration of poster quality.

For example if I took the 2 posters quoted above, TOG would have a better ratio than jb...
I was going to congratulate him on having 25 with just over 50 posts. However I don't believe the function existed until fairly recently, as older posts never see to have any likes/ dislikes. LTO was a great poster but has just 2 karma.

You were? What was it that made you reconsider doing so?

Being aware of how much you value your online forum presence, I knew that what I posted would sting a little...but jeez, did you really look up LTO's account to check his karma level and concoct some timeline about the karma function only being instituted recently, just to make yourself feel better about your own current karma to post, ratio?

Nah, I just had a look at some posts from 2014 and his name came up. Don't feel bad Gibbonsarms, you'd have a much higher post count if you hadn't been banned multiple times.

We older gibberers remember back to when the original karma was wiped, never to be restored. I'm not sure what type of government that fits under, possibly despotism. (Relax, it was a technical problem, I'm bitchin')
