The real question is when will they build a casino on Koh Rong
Re: Beach Club Resort Sihanoukville
yep,
just had confirmation. Long termers have 8 days to vacate.
Almost no other western run accommodation places remain.
For me, Nowhere to drink. I hung in as long as I could.
I am outta SHV too, after all these years.

Re: Beach Club Resort Sihanoukville
i did their website and got the word to take it down this morning.
i have always stayed there since my first visit in 07 or 08
Luna ran the place then, and very well.
Tony was giving away the beer all you could drink at charley harpers at least once a month.
it was a dirty little port back then and infinitely superior to what it is becoming

Even Sakal is gone
on TA
The Sakal, a long-established budget accomadation option (plus bar & restaurant) near Victory beach, has been demolished, courtesy of the Chinese. Sihanoukville is fast becoming a new province of China, with all that that entails.

I drank there for four years and the only time he did that was for private parties.
He was a generous chap but he had a business to run. He was no fool.
