I think my neighbor has stolen my cats
I think my neighbor has stolen my cats
Okay, so my neighbor is back in town and moved into the same house as before (next to me). He's only been back for about a week and now both of my cats (mother and son) have disappeared.
The day they disappeared he was over at my place saying how the cat wasn't as friendly as she used to be and calling her by the name he gave her before he went away.
The next night I was out calling them and he arrived home and completely blanked me. I didn't think too much about it because at that stage I thought they had both just wondered off and I also thought it was crazy to think that someone would do that until I googled "neighbor stealing my cat" and I was flabbergasted at how often it happens.
Since then he has gone inside every time I've been outside and when I finally managed to ask him if he'd seen the cats he said "no" but wouldn't look me in the eye.
It's been five days now and I don't know what to do. He never has the door open and the curtains are always closed and the gate locked. What should I do?
I want my fur babies back.

1. Get a life.
2. Find another cat.
3. Get a gf. better than a cat.

Is your neighbor Khmer? Were those his cats previously?

No, he's a young American guy. The mother cat was visiting both of our houses when she was starving and had kittens outside somewhere. We started feeding her and soon she brought her six kittens to our house. We found nice homes for 5 kittens, kept one and had the Mom spayed and they both were very happy living with us until he returned a week ago.
