That was the Russian Ilya Sergeyovich Vlasov.

Knowing nothing about Aussie law could Mr. Neubauer be barred from his law practice due his fiasco in the KofW?
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

As far as I know, if a lawyer of any country in the western world gets convicted of a crime in their own or another country, they get struck off the bar.
Water quenches the thirst, alcohol releases the truth.

Barred or not which client is going to run his name in Google then hire Saul Goodman on meth?

That's not true at all, at least not for the USA. It has a to be a felony or significant crime involving moral turpitude. Wearing a Cambodian military uniform wouldn't qualify.Artful Dodger wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:20 amAs far as I know, if a lawyer of any country in the western world gets convicted of a crime in their own or another country, they get struck off the bar.
Of course, if something like this made it to the Board of Bar Examiners they might look into whether they guy is now too cuckoo to practice law, regardless of the criminal arrest/conviction issue.

Board of Bar Examiners
I remember couple of years ago a o/seas group like this was in Cambodia and wrote a report ?. Someone refresh my memory.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Different states/countries have different terms, actually a board of bar examiners would normally deal with first time admissions to the bar. The bar's disciplinary board would be the one that tried to revoke a member's standing due to criminality or craziness.
