Friends that come for dinner
My friends come for dinner every night. It's hard to get a photo of all five at the same time cause they are always fighting with each other. Seems like they will eat anything from rice, noodles, lettuce, ham or eggs
I have even had them jump onto my plate if I have not left any out for them

Cute.
Edit: We have a new cat in the house, she's a little ginger street rescue that climbed into my lap at an outdoor restaurant and declared her intentions to take over our lives and household.
She's noticed that geckos tend to hang out where the ceiling meets the wall, but she's of the belief that every room should have at least one gecko. Doesn't matter what she's doing, she's always got one eye on the ceiling.

On a scale of one to ten, where one is only mildly gruntled, and ten is maximum gruntle, my life is fairly gruntled.taabarang wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 6:20 pmI'll bet you now lead a gruntled life.StroppyChops wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:36 pm Cute.

I only have one large gecko who hangs out protecting us from ghosts and flying insects, but the nephew and two nieces that never seem to leave eat far more.

Re: Friends that come for dinner
It was interesting with mine to see that they ate such a variety of foods that I put out for them. Because they have no teeth, as long as the food is cut up into bite size pieces about the size of a match head they have no problem gobbling it down. Sometimes they sit there stalking the food for ages as if it's going to fly away. I guess like most creachers on earth they adapt to life in the modern world and end up eating junk food.

I love the big ones (Tokay geckos), they make such a great sound. Don't have any around my place so I kinda miss them. Always quite a few little ones though.

Re: Friends that come for dinner
When I was much younger I went to Borneo and stayed at a five-star based in an old colonial building. Out of Africa, or East India Trading Company style. I had money then, don't judge me.
There was zero entertainment or nightlife, and we literally sat around in the humidity, smoking cigars and drinking brandy like absolute tossers, and betting on which of the barking geckos (the small ones) was going to fall from the ceiling next. It was actually quite entertaining, as two or more geckos would spot some edible insect on the ceiling, and slow-race to be the first to get to it without startling it away. Also, those small geckos let out a tiny scream when they lose their grip on the ceiling and start falling. Hysterical.

I'm glad you posted that. I thought I was the only one with a warped twisted mind that interpreted that as '' Fuck-you ''
I will continue my conversation with them tonight.
