more bad press for Mexico
So much reporting on the middle east but for years not much is reported on what goes on just south of the border.
Gangs, drug lords, massacres, kidnapping of foreigners for $$, thousands fleeing across the border......
One tv show that brought attention to the border trouble was the show "the Border" and a few episodes from "Breaking bad"
MY cousin in married to a Mexican from Guadalajara an his parents will not allow them to visit cause of the crime.
I used to travel often down to Guaymas, Mazatlan and Baja an even taught at the art academy in Guadalajara for 6 months an loved it.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-29493797A mass grave has been found on the outskirts of the Mexican town of Iguala, where 43 students went missing on 27 September, officials say.
The group had travelled to the area, in the state of Guerrero, to take part in a protest over teachers' rights.
Police opened fire on their buses, killing six people.
Twenty-two police officers are being held in connection with the shooting.
Witnesses said the most of the survivors - all trainee teachers - were bundled into police vans before disappearing.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
