Phnom Penh: On July 19, 2018, two very drunk Chinese men hit a road divider as they were driving at high speed at 5:30 am along Sihanouk Boulevard, at 143, Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh.

The two men who were not wearing seatbelts were slightly injured, the road divider was barely touched, however, the vehicle was so seriously damaged that it had to be towed away from the accident scene.

What’s considered a high speed crash in the KOW? Car looks a bit bent. Airbags didn’t deploy. Drivers still standing.

Airbags didn’t deploy.
Probably because they were pilfered and sold off long ago.

By the looks of that front end, the airbags should have triggered.

Thats probably longer than the lifespan of many cars.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Also in some cars airbags dont deploy unless the seatbelt is fastened as if it explodes in your face it might be the airbag that kills you rather then the collision.
