Cambodia Exposed by Al Jazeera

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

He doesn't bother himself with that. I'm sure he had some strong words with whichever brother-in-law or relative lackey he's got on staff to handle CYA details like that.

It was great seeing him implement the old, answer a question with a question technique.

She'd come at him with a document supported allegation and he'd come back with "Where did you get that information?" She'd then tell him and he'd reply, "I don't know, I don't know." "It was a long time ago."

That guy's so greasy, he doesn't need any pomade to comb over that dyed black thatch on his head.

I was wondering where Kissinger fitted into this palaver about the tax man myself.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Not a good report on Australian "competent authorities" stopping money laundering and corporate fraud.
I cannot understand why everyone is tip toeing around taking action against Cambodia. The EU the US and Australia even the Japanese.
What is so important to everyone to keep them onside? (CHiNA???)

OK, nothing to see here, Lets move on to the next government department.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Nothing out of the ordinary;
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-04/c ... ch/9831064
It's when it hits the media the government suddenly springs into action!
Now they are trying to give the banks a tax break that would see them gain 10 times the amount of the fine per year, Haha, and this is in just a matter of months.
Australian corruption is usually legal!
