Re: Modem wanted

Post by armchairlawyer »

Well Opennet point blank refused to fix or replace the modern. After a lot of discussion I ended up with a choice of buying a new one for $27 or paying for six more months and getting one for free. As I was already paid up five months I went for the former option. I asked them if the modem was mine to take away when the contract finished. At first they said no, but they finally got the liogic that if I was buying it, it must be mine to keep. They also agreed to a three year warranty on it. I got all that in writing. I understand how people doing business here get frustrated, a simple thing took up hours of time.
