Boys soccer team trapped in flooded cave.

I would suspect that will be settled by a genorus donator.Username Taken wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 6:34 pmJust wait till the families get the bill for the rescue operation.

The Thai Royal Household said early on in the operation they would foot the bill.

The coach just joined his team and is hospital bound.

Re: Boys soccer team trapped in flooded cave.
It irks me a little bit when I read the usual negative comments from foreigners jumping on the “ loss of face “ line. As far as I can see the Thai authorities recognised early on they didn’t have the very specific expertise required and requested help, just like many other countries in natural disaster situations. Both the authorities and the Thai people have been quick to thank those involved for their help. The locals up there have been serving up free food etc to all and sundry including the foreign media pack. It has been a humanitarian team effort and to try to bring nationalism into it is a sad reflection of life today. When foreigners jump on any opportunity to slam a country and its people unjustly I’m afraid it seems to me they are the ones who have a problem.
I am so happy for the kids and their families and friends, I honestly didn’t think a week ago a positive outcome was looking likely.

Re: Boys soccer team trapped in flooded cave.
Some seriously great news.
Still 4 rescuers (3 divers and the dr) to get out though so not over yet.
It’s nothing short of a miracle all the kids and coach made it out alive.
As for the bill, yes the royal palace said they will take care of it and the government is going to compensate the surrounding paddi fields that were flooded from the water pumping. Overall it’s been a successful mission that everyone involved can be very proud in. But we cannot forget the rescuers who sacrificed his life to get these kids out.

I agree with above positive evaluations. It's win win for everyone. The one exception is of course the one diver who lost his life while helping to save others.

Manchester United have invited the boys to old trafford next season. A much better offer than the idiot who invited them to the World Cup final.

And Kyle Walker wants to send them their England shirts.
