singapore haircuts

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

singapore haircuts

Post by tightenupvolume1 »

I recall that in the 70s they would deny long haired males from entering singapore unless they had a haircut at the border, it looks like they got Kim and missed the Trump, or maybe Kim took the rap for the Trump and had two haircuts, or maybe it is an urban myth?.

It's not so long ago that they had "hair police" here. Not at immigration unfortunately but on the streets. They'd grab a bunch of teenagers who had the audacity to dye their hair or get a weird style. Then they'd hack the girl's hair up or shave the guy's hair off, but deliberately do it badly so it looked terrible. I remember it happening to a guy I knew, and still know, from a Cham family. The family are very wealthy and hold high posts. He was doing some silly teenage gangster business down at a local high school, fighting and stuff. They were all rounded up and given the chop. He's behaved himself since, studied abroad and is a fine upstanding member of society now. That shit doesn't work for everyone though. In my own teens skinheads were a thing. They were great in high school, the teachers used to get really annoyed because they couldn't grab your sideburns anymore.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
