Phnom Penh: In the afternoon of June 12, 2018, there was a fire at the new building site along Street 65, Village 8, Srah Chork, Khan Daun Penh.
The fire broke out on electric wires leading to the building site. The cause of the fire is presumed to be the faulty electric wiring. The authorities intervened to combat the fire and no one was hurt.

There was another electrical fire in Phnom Penh the same day.

The accident occurred at 8:25 am on June 12 at the corner of Mao Tse Tung Boulevard and 105 Street in Boeung Keng Kang III, Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh. According to the source, the fire could not be extinguished and caused a series of explosions, so the local authorities also called Firefighters of Phnom Penh Police Commissariat to intervene.
