Mongering in the low season
Hi everyone,
I have a holiday in Cambodia coming up fast. I'm there for the whole month of July. I understand this to be the middle of the rainy season, when tourism slumps.
Since the start of the month I've noticed all the bar girls I've kept in touch with since I was last there at the beginning of the year have sunk into a depression, bitterly complaining about not having customers and that they have to do actual work during the day, and communication has nearly completely died out.
What I want to ask is, what have I got to expect when I get there? Will I be greeted with half-starved skeletons? Will they be constantly in a shitty mood sapped of all fun? Is it worth it mongering in the low season?

I was about to make an analogy where I compared the inherent benefits of keeping bar girls and beasts of burden hungry , but thought better of it.Mrkoreaname wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 1:35 pm Will I be greeted with half-starved skeletons? This is exactly how I like to monger! Well planned! What I want to ask is, what have I got to expect when I get there? Will I be greeted with half-starved skeletons? Will they be constantly in a shitty mood sapped of all fun? Is it worth it mongering in the low season?
Monger during low season when the hoes are desperate for a john.
They won't be 1/2 starved skeletons but they'll be hungry and will agree to more than usual.
Once during low season some 20 years back, I got a hoe for $5 and did unspeakable things to her for the entire night.
I'd love to give details but it would probably get me banned.
Have fun and wear two condoms!
To gladly teach and gladly learn.

If you come loaded with Benjamins you might give them back their smile and enthusiasm... Maybe

Will I be greeted with half-starved skeletons?
No, but it will probably cost you half as much again. Possibly twice the price in low season.

Always "hope" but never "expect".

Hmmm, the Khmer logic I have encountered is that the bar girls will have to charge 5 times as much to make up for the lack of Johns.
