Tuk tuk from PP airport to BKK1 area

Post by wendyaspinall »

I am scheduled to arrive @ Phnom Penh airport on the 15th of June, 5.35pm and thereafter plan to take a good, reliable, professional tuk tuk to bkk1 area from the airport.
If anyone travelling or arriving at the same date and around the same time, who wish to share a tuk tuk and the fare with me,
please post a reply here.

You can get a closed taxi for $10-$12...just to let you know about your options.

Rainy season is here, taxis are more comfortable and generally safer.

Why the hell would you piss about trying meet someone who you've never met before at the airport to split a $6 fare to town and have their suitcases on your lap?

If you read Wendy's posts from last year you'll see that she has a phobia of Asiatics. Maybe Bolueeleh can pick her up from the airport.

Yeah, just get your own tuktuk. Easy and cheap enough to just walk out and get it.

I'm all about saving money, but the hassle of going through all the motions of splitting a tuktuk from the airport with someone can't possibly be worth it. Have fun!

Arrange to meet random person or persons at the airport.
Have to wait an hour or 2 for them.
Spend more on lattes while you wait than you will be saving on the fare.

Priceless logic.

Other options are PassApp tuktuk hailing service btw... because while the OP maybe a muppet I am obliged to help as even muppets can become useful members of society.

Free? What service are you talking about, as I've never heard of anything being free from Grab.
