How will they deal with all of the sewage?

I have heard that all new developments have to have intergrated sewage treatment plants.

So as long as it is maintained everything should be fine.....

And you believe the developers will pay for integrated sewage plants? Dream on.

The only plants that they will use will be alocasia macrorrhiza, often referred to as the Chinese sewage plant, right over their leaking cesspits. The rest will simply be discharged into the sea as normal for the Chinese.

Interesting fact. Up until early 80s there wasn’t a single waste treatment plant in the whole of China!

What’s happening since is unprecedented but there’s a long way to go. They should be experts at building waste water facilities and know the consequences of not doing it.

Why should they care, it's not their country (yet).

Anyone thinking that these apartments and buildings will be built to the highest building codes is living in fairy land.
