Flying a Drone above Angkor Wat allowed??
Flying a Drone above Angkor Wat allowed??
Hello, it's me again with a serious question.
Is it allowed to fly with a drone over Siem Reap and Angkor Wat with a drone and shoot pictures?
I have read posts here of guys been arrested for flying a drone in Phnom Penh, but that was at the Royal Palace.
Would it be possible to buy a drone in Siem Reap?
Thx for your advise!

Not allowed to fly over Angkor Wat.
Well, actually they are if you get a permit but as far as I know nobody really knows the process or cost involved, cost the company below $1,000 for a permit, I'm guessing this is different every time.

I know people have flown drowns over Ankor Wat with consent... Go to youtube and see them. Some are from Govt tourism agencies so there must be a way. I assume a permit is required.

My information is a little out of date but it used to cost between 2 and 6K to fly a drone over Angkor Wat.

james 1234 contact Eddie Smith on FB, he does microlight flights, I think he might be allowed to fly nearby?
Failing that, people have already done it, why work hard instead of work smart?

Flying a drone over Angkor Wat is only allowed if it is done while simultaneously insulting the king, fomenting a colour revolution, posting photoshopped images of HE raping a pig on Facebook, selling dildos, and dancing pornographically.
