Tastes like lemonade but with 5% alcohol? Are you trying to get a 9 year old girl drunk?

Alcohol, by definition has sugar in it, no?

I was undertone impression that you cannot make alcohol without sugar.

Which means that there is no such thing as zero-sugar alcohol.

zero-added sugar, maybe.

No way! It's ethanol simple Molecular Formula‎: ‎CH3CH2OH or C2H6O
Chemical Names‎: ‎Ethanol; Ethyl alcohol.
Are u that ignorant of the simplest organic chemistry ? Sugars have a much higher molecular weight and many more carbon, oxygen, hydrogen atoms.

Yes...can we discuss your assumptions?

Seriously, you're surprised that people don't know about the organic chemistry/molecular weights of various alcohols?

But the later pictures show stated 3% only if that is meant as the alcohol content ?

maybe not that in general but the simplest fundamental high school chemistry - i would think most would remember the prefixes meth... for 1 carbon as in methane , eth... for 2, pent... etc.

I studied chemistry last in 1973...perhaps before you were born or frequented Walkabout/GSM?

I think I can be forgiven for forgetting a few things.

You seem to know a lot about illegal drugs, perhaps you have a special interest in that field and so you have maintained your knowledge.

I have specialised in different areas, which you probably likewise know little about.

Ok ' ignorant ' was a bit strong word perhaps. Otherwise for me nothing to do with illegal drugs that's for sure and i remembered it from high school around 1963-5 and not specialized in that particular area. Yea before i frequented walkabout and gsm which is now about the complete downfall of Phnom Penh along with also esp demolishing of Utopia, Dolphin shack,Sessions, Rocky's etc. in Sihanoukville - what's next - demolishing Big Easy ? About All Hope is gone in Cambodia

I have a very limited understanding of chemistry but gather that sugar is converted into alcohol. So technically an alcoholic beverage can claim to be alcohol free. But I wonder if you can shed some light on this for me zmth. In N.Z there is a recent trend towards putting a "99 % sugar free" bubble on beer labels. This is obviously intended to imply some health benefit, but isn't it somewhat misleading? I mean doesn't the sugar have the same amount of calories as the sugar that was used to produce it?
