Re: My Pest Hell on Arriving in PP
If I lived in a 3rd world country, the accommodation would have to be insect-free
Only twice ever encountered a cockroach in a hotel room, once in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka about 2011, and once in Sutus Court, Pattaya last year. That's enough for me

You were lucky; it could have been scorpions and centipedes with termite mound cobras and venomous tree snakes guarding the yard. After five years of decimation we finally solved our rural "pest problem."
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Thanks everyone - don't know if I made it clear but I left that place because of the infestation. New place - NOTHING - well, a few ants.
I thought that stepping on them and eggs thing was an urban myth?
Although the sh*t that comes out of them is vile, I can't help thinks of the muck they've been living on, half digested and - gross.
