Avoiding ATM fees possibly? by going in Bank?

Post by shnoukieBRO »

Is it possible to get cash advances in the banks for Mastercard? thus avoiding atm use and therefore the typical $5 atm fees?

(Tried Maybanks supposed free visa atm, but they impose a fee of $5 -probably cos I'm using Mastercard)

This whole thing is arse about face. ATMs exist to reduce in-house traffic and encourage account-holders to make more transactions.

They should be paying the account holder, if anything.

as far as my US & Thai credit cards are concerned, a cash advance starts incurring interest the day u get the advance..

Yes. Perhaps I confusing worded that but I meant to get from debit card inside the bank hopefully bypassing the $5 fee. Does that also work in Thailand PR? 😊

hello,

Have you tried only SCB or also some other Thai debit cards in Cambodia ? Debit cards from all Thai banks should work if they are visa cards ?

Thanks a lot.
