Another example of big vs small

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I've lost count Dron. How many negative karma have you given me in this thread? Is it 5 or 6, or more?

Looks like I have more karma than you have posts. Keep it up, you've got a lot more negs to hand out yet.

In another thread you mentioned the word 'Farang'. What does that even mean?

bolueeleh wrote:it should be somewhere in the middle ground
1 - there should be a designated area for street vendors
2 - there should be regulated for hygiene practises
3 - there should be proper waste management, local government shld collect rental from vendors in order to facilitate proper waste management
4 - there should be proper space management, i.e. parking of vendors n customers etc
5 - lastly, if they do this, it shld be ENFORCED, which as far as i can see, this is the part where khmers are severely lacking , there are tons of laws already out there, it is just so much easier to write down the law on paper but nobody does anything, pencil pusher much? half arsed much?
Haha, this.

People are making it sound like Dron is saying, "hang them in the City Square!," when he only sounds about as annoyed as the average Cambodian about it.

While I'd hate it if they were all banned, they have asked for this. They can be inconsiderate as shit sometimes.

Maybe if they bothered to spend a little more time acting right they wouldn't be getting kicked out.

We need to find middle ground.

Too easy and too self-destructive to be negative.

So sad isn't it? Almost brings a tear to the eye.. oh wait that was the giant pile of trash on the street in front of my apartment.
Please tell me where in these pictures (or anywhere in Tokyo), I can sit on a riverside, enjoy a $5 super happy pizza, while drinking $0.50 draft beer, smoking $0.50 per pack cigarettes, and then buy a 20 gram bag of herb before sauntering back to my $15/night guesthouse? Seriously. I'd love to know.

Comparing Phnom Penh to Tokyo (or any other "big" city in the world) is absolutely asinine. Completely different "characters"! If you enjoy Tokyo's character more than Phnom Penh's, then go live there. Easy! You wouldn't have to cry anymore when you look in front of your apartment.
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.
