look at other images of Russel's Viper.... you won't see same pattern so uniform on a python. also, the latter photo shows a small head in proportion of it's body. Pythons have large heads in the larger species such as depicted in photo.... But to put all arguments aside, next time you see the snake, just ask him/her, or, take a bite... If you only suffer pain and infection, it is a python... If you are belly up next day, it's a viper.

Reticulated python. Adults are the longest snakes in the world. Anacondas are the heaviest.

That was my first thought as well.

I based that off how light reflected off the scales. I thought most viper scales didn’t shine like that.

Vipers have triangular heads and their scales are not shiny. Hard to tell anything from these pics / videos though.

Russell’s Vipers are often confused for young pythons since both are stocky snakes with distinctive markings all over their body. The markings on a Russell’s viper’s body however are relatively symmetrical (diamond or elliptical in shape) whereas those of a python are haphazard and asymmetrical.

Another difference between the two snakes is in the shape of their heads. Russell’s Vipers have a triangular head whereas pythons have one that is more rectangular in shape.

It certainly is. I did actually look carefully at the most likely options before I first posted. I ruled out Reticulated Python early on as it seems their markings have far more variation than the one in the video. Burmese Pythons generally have large irregular patterns with a lighter color around the hard shapes. Reticulated Pythons generally have a much more complex pattern, with the spaces between the "shapes"containing more complex patterns. Again I understand that within any species there can be huge variations, but here we have a typical Reticulated Python:

And a typical Burmese Python:

I discounted Russell's Viper early on as it has markings that are in rows and very regularly shaped, leaf or double-leaf shapes, rather than irregular patches:
