I think Steve is assuming no one pays maintenance here. Big mistake.kiwiincambodia wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 12:57 pmAs someone who was married to a Khmer and now is raising 2 daughters by myself, that has to be the worst advice anyone has ever given on this forum.AmericanSteve wrote:
My advice: get her pregnant as soon as possible so this way, if and when she dumps you, at least you would have gotten something valuable out of her.

I'm not assuming that. I have paid or am paying child support for 4 kids and 90% of the time from overseas.I think Steve is assuming no one pays maintenance here. Big mistake.
What kind of a father would think that, one way or the other, he isn't going to have to pay for his kids?
If she gives him a kid, especially a son, then its be definition a success. If you plan for failure, don't be surprised if you fail.

Unless she gets custody.

Not whining at all just stating a fact. Raising them alone is not easy and it’s not easy on the kids without a mother, but we make it work.AmericanSteve wrote:Why are you raising them by yourself? As someone who was married to a Khmer and now is raising 2 daughters by myself, that has to be the worst advice anyone has ever given on this forum.
This is Asia - get a wife! Come to China and I'll hook you up.
Chinese girls love kiwis.
Seriously though, are you kidding?
You are lucky enough to actually get the kids and you're whining about it!
How much did it cost you to get custody?
Not much I bet.
No thanks, not interested in another wife any time soon. Been there, done that. Have more fun just the 3 of us.
After living in HK a while I know Chinese love the kiwis but in all honestly, who doesn’t?

She does not accept my terms. She already invite a lot of people to our wedding, and she doesnt want to postpone it.
I change my mind a lot. is she afraid of loosing her face ?
