Phnom Penh: A 68 year old Croatian expat, NINOSLAV MILINKOVIC, was discovered dead last night on April 23, in his first floor rented house in Sangkat Srash Chork, Khan Doun Penh, Phnom Penh.

The local people said that, 5 or 6 days ago when the victim was chasing a monkey out of his home, he slipped over and fell on the floor, hurting himself quite badly. He was unwell and suffering, but did not see a doctor and stayed in his room.
5 days later, the foreigners staying in rooms close to the victim's could smell something bad coming from his room, so they told the owner of the house to unlock the victim's room. When they opened the door, they found the man was dead, with his body in a state of decay. Then they reported to the police immediately to remove and examine the body.

After examination, the police determined that the victim died by himself, and there were no suspicious circumstances. Recently, the body was taken to keep at the Khmer Soviet Hospital, waiting for family to take his remains for a funeral. RIP

"I knew him , he was a good guy . Screwed by Philip , Khmer manager in # 10 Lake Side Guesthouse who stole his passport and other things in 2017 . Stealing is normality there , Nino lived there for a long time . Than he moved to Lakeside # 11 and then to that house where he lived with 2 French man . He could not leave Cambodia because he overstayed for a long time , 3 - 4 years , and money was issue . He could not afford himself a doctor , at the end , that killed him. "

Phnom Penh: At 6:30 pm on April 23, 2018, along Route 86 at Room # 6, Room # 97B, Village 22, Sangkat Srah Chak, Khan Daun Penh, the body of 69 year old Croatian man NINOSLAV MILIKOVIC was discovered in his $50 rented room by his neighbors.
He is reported to have had a chronic heart condition and, according to one of the neighbors, he often suffered from tightness in the chest, and he was taking pills for high blood pressure.
Police have said that the victim died of a heart attack. RIP.

I am not sure that Philip stole his ,obey,but probably his wife according to Nino,when he was moving out and his mobile phone.Sad news for all of us that were his friends.Nino was brave fellow travele,stoic and did it his way or no way at all.I is him very much,it hurts to lose best friend soul mate and brave man.Soon we will meet in large party on the other side.Nino BRO R.I.P.

RIP. I've never had to chase a monkey out of where I live, worst is maybe a mouse. What do they do? Steal your food and belongings? I recall reading about that American guy having his football team hat stolen and paralyzed himself chasing the monkey.
