Part of your language struggle may be that the waterpark in question has been closed for hygiene reasons, and the other waterpark is very, very far from the location you seek.

It has another name that locals know it by, that translates as something like "Military/ Army Market", and sounds like Damcla.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 3:00 pmheres the khmer spellings to show your moto driverDangerous Dave wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 1:51 pm I've encountered several references to a semi-structured marketplace for army stuff like boots and field kits and so forth, called Psar Damcla. Most of these references describe it as being "on Russian Federation, on the way to the airport, across from the waterpark," but that description isn't helping me through the language barrier with my tuk-tuk driver.
If the place still exists at all (reports are non-current), could someone help* me out with the number of a specific cross-street?
Thanks, everyone, and cheers.

that genius suggestion of Phsar Dermkor is spelt ផ្សារដើមគរ

and this is Skyland on 271 https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@11.56029 ... 312!8i6656
BTW, that Skyland doesn't look like much from outside but it's got loads of interesting stuff inside.

not familiar with the word Damcla and cant find anything in the dictionary, ខ្លា Kla does mean Tiger so maybe that is something to do with it (camouflage or something)John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 11:32 pmIt has another name that locals know it by, that translates as something like "Military/ Army Market", and sounds like Damcla.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 3:00 pmheres the khmer spellings to show your moto driverDangerous Dave wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 1:51 pm I've encountered several references to a semi-structured marketplace for army stuff like boots and field kits and so forth, called Psar Damcla. I don't know either, all I know is if you ask a driver to go to Psah Teuk Tla you'll get to the place mentioned. It's the same market where you could buy guns and grenades and landmines 20 years ago, now they just do uniforms, Or so I'm told. I wouldn't fuck around in that market either, it's not a tourist area,
