32 US Embassy Workers Fired for Sharing Underage Porn in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Re: 32 US Embassy Workers Fired for Sharing Underage Porn in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
I can't speak for Cambodian judges or speak on Cambodian law. But as a general rule of international law, there will be diplomatic immunity for something like this and embassy workers can't successfully sue an embassy. The US government isn't subject to Cambodian labor laws. And that's how it should be. The Cambodian embassy in Washington DC can similarly fire whoever they want without fear of being sued in an American courtroom.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sun Apr 15, 2018 12:44 pm Uh-oh.
