Chinese Loans for Khmers - Anyone Translate

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Chinese Loans for Khmers - Anyone Translate

Post by one_dolla »

These business cards are being given out to Khmer workers in SHV a barang mate showed me it and it has been explained to him by Khmers that the writing on the back of the card says how much money you will MAKE each month if you take out a loan ..... this does not make sense! Take out a loan and make money - surely it must be the repayment options??? ( I cropped the image to loose the contact phone numbers) There is nothing odd on the front of the card it - in fact its also in English saying they give out business and personal loans ( did try google translate but it was unclear )

Anyone translate the Khmer to clarify? :?:

Thanks for clearing that up, there used to be a few Khmer Ladys who as well as doing massage/nails/scooter rentals at the beach would lend money to other such but newer ladys doing the same work that needed short term loans to get by. Very few of these lady's left at all at Occheuteal including fruit sellers though I expect an influx of them over the week end to hopefully sell to Khmer tourists..
