Trump's latest adventure into diplomacy
OK, so the American public as well as ylthe country of Mexico refuse to pay for his xenophobic border wall. And what is his solution?
Station the American army all along border.. He is a total embarrassment and proof that wealth is no substitute for brains.

Trump's latest adventure into diplomacy
Maybe it’s a ploy to go against the current anti gun rhetoric? Either that or he thinks having the army there will allow him to use their budget to build his wall...
I thought having troops “deployed” on American soil was not allowed, hence why they have the national guard?
If Troops are actually deployed it would give the gun nuts an even stronger reason ( to them, not to any sane person) to fight the proposed gun regulations.

national guard is militia under command of state governor normally, not the prez.
the latest outburst is in response to a caravan of hondurans who were headed to usa.
orange guy told the mexes he would dissolve nafta if they did not stop them, so they stopped them

He's also trying to get troops out of Syria. Call me crazy, but American troops have more business on the American border than fighting in a civil war half way around the world.

It doesn't seem like sending troops to replace ty wall will be cheap either. According to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico% ... #/editor/0 there's over 1,400 miles of unfenced border to "defend.". That's one hell oof a " battle front ", most of which is extremely arid. I doubt the usual adrenaline rushes of war will prevail and boredom will quickly prevail.
