Smart Power Plus

Post by paul2d »

I see that Smart offers a PowerPlus8 Uber plan that includes 40GB+5GB for $8/month. Would this be an viable option for a 30 visitor? Any cautions? Thanks in advance.

Check the coverage area map for Smart. Are all the areas you are going to visit covered ? If so then the worst that could happen is that you will need buy more GB's

Smart's coverage map isn't entirely accurate. Generally great in big towns and along highways, but generally average to zero coverage in between.

You'd need to spend a lot of time online - as opposed to looking at the place you're visiting - to get through 45GB of data in 30 days.

Yeah it drops out in the middle of nowhere on the bus and train. But if $1/week gets you 1GB and $2 gets you 10GB why not?

Smart is good in Ken Svey, the family will be buying this. They really suck up the unlimited bandwidth in Australia.
