Phnom Penh: On March 29 at 10:30 pm, an unidentified foreigner driving a Russian Embassy car reportedly hit a police car and attempted to run away at Sky Bridge 5 Makara, Sangkat Tuek Laork1, Khan Toul kok, Phnom Penh.

In a minor accident, a Lexus, driven by an individual claiming to be a police officer working for the drug squad, was scraped on the right hand side by a Kia belonging to the Russian Embassy. The unidentified foreign driver in the Kia then took off at high speed attempting to flee the scene of the accident. After a high-speed chase, he was caught by police near the Ministry of National Defense.
The policeman in the Lexus was well pissed off, and when he caught up with the hit and run driver, he got out of his car and smashed the back windscreen of the foreigner's car.
After the incident, the police went to submit the case to the Phnom Penh traffic police because the incident involved a Russian Embassy vehicle.

Russian Embassy has the best swimming pool in the country.

Drugs squad guy better get some coloured plates if he's gonna start grinding with the big boys on diplomat plates.
