Chinese Buying Up Front Bars Square Sihanoukville.
Chinese Buying Up Front Bars Square Sihanoukville.
Can any one confirm the Chinese bought the leases of 4 more front section bars in last few days?
The very front row bars leases were purchased some time ago and have been turned into coffee shops etc.
Sounds like the Chinese want the front block to make a 'food court'.
If so, then any of you boys wanting female company may have to settle on a bowl of Chop Suey soon!!!
Pub Street about to close and The Square changing its character will mean its off to a KTV for a sing song!!

The whole complex is owned by the woman that recently sold 40% of Beach Road, from Utopia to BR Hotel. Pundits are betting the square will soon go the way of the Plaza, which closes in the next few weeks.
Ditto.

how is an open front KTV any different to the many open front beerbars in the kingdom, id rather listen to some Khmer music than pitbull or justin beiberthat genius wrote: ↑Tue Mar 27, 2018 12:22 pmThe room in some cases is private, but many restaurants and bars have open karaoke, and the extreme noise is public.
A private room in a mental institution would be an improvement.

As I already said that area had a nice quiet vibe untill that all got overdeveloped. The only good nightlife there remaining was the square area, and i liked the vibe of the shacks on the rocky right hand side of the Pier on Serendipity beach.
As far as I'm concerned now. They can bulldoze the rest and I just wish they would get the building stuff all done rather quickly so hopefully the area can settle down into being a resort, than a building site.
