Septic holding tank broken at Pier Sihanoukville
Septic holding tank broken at Pier Sihanoukville
Wonder how this will play out. The concrete box at Pier has broken and waste water pooling on top. Smell terrible. God knows the health issue this poses.

Some Japanese men would pay gold to swim in that!
I actually don't give a flying fuck, furthermore nice to meet you all here!

Everyone coming and going to the Islands must walk through this waste water.
Anyone going to the restaurants along the rocks area must wade through this shit.
In the West the area would be fenced off till area deemed not a health hazard.
The restaurants near by sweeping the waste water onto the sand.
It wont be an easy fix but needs to be sorted quickly.
Just hope your loved ones aren't wading through this pond in Sihanoukvilles prime spot. Protecting the health of tourists important!!!

Have you got any pictures? Is it just the Pier Bar's sewage? Or is it a tank used by a few local places? Can't they just get a few pump trucks over to suck it all up and dump it somewhere else?
Silence, exile, and cunning.
Re: Septic holding tank broken at Pier Sihanoukville
Sadly images wont load.
This is the large tank at the start of the Pier. Sewage is meant to be pumped up the hill l was told from this large holding tank.
Anyway it looked like a stress in the concrete has broken the top layer of concrete. The sewage gushing out in front of some of Sihanoukville's busiest restaraunts catering to tourists coming and going to the Islands.
Any health inspector in the West would be on the spot in a minute. This contamination could spread far and wide in a short time. This is the main hub to the Islands!!!
We have idiots saying on this forum charge people to swim in the mess. Typhiod is no joke.

Add to the issue the Khmer food sellers usually lined up on the top of the concrete box.
Looked like they had moved away thankfully.

You can choose your lunch but you can't choose your forum posters! (Or something like that.).
