Yap, just bought a pair of jeans a couple of days ago for $ 10. They lasted exactly 4 days....zipper, buttons, rivets......plop...everything gone.
Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

i live on a hillside on my piece of land, last house on a dead end road set up against a rubber tree plantation
no bars, seldom lock the doors

I did NOT build my home to live locked away inside it

PS; never been robbed or had anything stolen and people walk past my home each day ( Thais an Burmese) to go to work
BUT this is Thailand not Cambodia LOL
