Phnom Penh: A Chinese tourist, Gan Lu, 36 years old, was arrested while flying his drone camera in a restricted area near the Independence Monument at 09:30 pm on March 14, on Soramreth Boulevard, Khan Chaktomok in Phnom Penh.
The source said that the police arrested the suspect was while he was flying his drone and took him to the police station for questioning. The police confiscated the evidence including a drone (DJI Model GL 100A), a remote control and his Iphone 6 plus.
The man was taken to Department of Anti-Technology to follow the appropriate legal proceedings.
