Land of Smiles

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

My second morning in Ranong I discovered a traditional porridge shop

Was told they've been in business for more than 30 years. Shop opens 5am and closes when sold out which is about noon.

It is rather frustrating to post here in China as first I need to upload the photos then posts and all these websites including here is blocked so gotta use VPN to help to open up however getting through the VPN is a difficult task in the first place second the speed is low and third you keep dropping the connection as I believe the authorities are trying to block the VPN as well.

So finally arrived after about 2h 45mins

That is a lot of screws to cart around mate. Now I know why you can eat as you do, need all the energy to tote that load. :beer3: :beer3: :Yahoo!:

By today day 8 I had gone through 8 cities and completed 13 meetings/visitings. Yesterday was rest day for me in Shanghai however later I will move on to my 14th meeting today.

Last post was still Sunday my second day and lunch in Dongguan, after that I took a taxi to Panyu district of Guangzhou. Ended up at a small town hotel that my counterpart here booked due to proximity to his factory. This is the best hotel around
