Land of Smiles

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Prices of fuel in Thailand had become a joke where benzene users are made to subsidize diesel users really ridiculous. Anyway priced had broke record once again US$ 1.51 per litre.

Been a while since I posted food here. Last 2 months had been crazy though for work and family things. Hope now I could get back on my feet and start to post again.

Rarely go Peppe for lunch anyway was there for lunch something simple

Probably the best Pinot Gris I have

Home made salami and speck from Amalfi Coast

Good to see you back on the food front, hope everything is well for you.
Now! Going for lunch something simple? That spread is just simply a feast to my eyes. Simply amazing well prepared and presented food.
What is the taste of the razor clams, something I have never had before? I have been taken up with shell foods of late, being mainly of scallop and muscles, but alas the muscle price has gone through the roof over the last week.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Thank you. Food Peppe chooses are always top quality so these live razor clams air flown from Holland are super fresh and sweet to the taste.

I think I could manage the main, but would struggle to eat the whole with the side dish.
Had a few deep-fried prawns this evening -

Specialise in prawn flavoured gravy so I try it and it was delicious but because it sticky so its rather filling. Very rich in flavour worth to try
