Land of Smiles

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

At the Suvarnabhumi Airport this morning, really happy to see many more people compare to 2 months ago also my flight was 80% full, seems like there is really light at the end of the tunnel now.

In Thailand we call it "saen-yai rat-na" = big-noodle in thick sauce. This is actually a Cantonese dish.

Foodland is a 24 hours supermarket chain and always have a eater with it famously known as Took Lae Dee. In the morning they have special price for "American" breakfast for 65 baht only (US$2)

A few days ago I visited a branch at Ramintra Road near my home. Was there at 5.30am, did some shopping and then had breakfast there:
