Land of Smiles

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Thailand is not just good for Thai food as there is a large foreign community here permanently mostly expats the Japanese, Italian and French food is very good here too.

There is a casual French restaurant in Bangkok known as The Brasserie in Crystal Park Mall thats serves pretty good French and at reasonable price.

The alcohol part of The Brasserie is known as The Godfather

Beautiful selection can even find rare Japanese whiskey

whats with all the photos of an expensive restaurant?. ( NO, not saying i prefer photos of Phat Thai).
We all know Bangkok has the same high quality food, (at a cost), as most western cities..
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Nothing wrong with being butch, LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or queer) these days.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

For real Japanese, I mean those high end flown direct from Japan twice a week type its less than half the price of Singapore. As for western food and wine I'd say its probably 30% to even half cheaper.
