Elections 2018 : should we expect to be disturbed?
Elections 2018 : should we expect to be disturbed?
Hello all!
I do not have opinions about the politic of foreign countries. In fact, ; I don't give a f*** to theses sh** But, I would like to know if we have to expect some disturbances or any problem in the run-up to the elections.
For example, some people think that we have to take cash out of our bank account.
Also, when the lease of The man will be renewed, you think, the country will be in which mood ? Any chance I can open a small shop to sell homemade apple juice on the street ?
Thanks in advance to share you feeling about that and maybe avoid to show your opinions about politic, it's not the topic.

It’s hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.

I really don't know. The odds are the iron fist will do its work and it might be just a small breeze, but I will keep some cash money at hand just in case shit hits the fan seriously.onico wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:54 pm Hello all!

I think its quite easy now.
There is one party. Everyone will vote for them and they will win. After the elections the stock exchange will go up. The banks are happy.
All is well.
Of course you can open an apple juice shop but it must be declared.
Anything else ? There may be some demonstrations in Phnom Penh around elections, but there was much more possibility of civil unrest in 2013 when there was a real chance of change I think. It never happened. Finally, those in power, will stay in power. IMO.

Is it a one horse race? I thought there were still a lot of smaller parties contesting seats. Is Funcinpec still in existence?

This. It might not be a win for democracy, but maintaining the status quo does have some advantages.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 5:16 pmonico wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:54 pm Hello all!
