We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. The most scenic arrest photo I've ever seen.

So, this is interesting. Mark Johnson claims he works at Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC) on his LinkedIn profile. He says he's been a teacher there since December 2016, but I find it hard to believe that a teacher at Northbridge would end up homeless like that.

Mark Johnson also says he's been 'teaching continuously' since 1991, and 13 of those years were in Vietnam, where he also worked for VUS and ILA in HCMC.

Do ESL teachers just teach in Vietnam until they get kicked out, then head to Cambodia, work at the best international schools until they are homeless and get arrested, deported, then rinse and repeat? I guess it's not a bad lifestyle.

And I think he's still wearing the same shirt from his CV that he was arrested in:

Lost his tie though.

Hahaha! This pic is cool! I really don't recall seeing such a fitting arrest pic!

Anyone confirm this?

That's a pretty steep fall for a tefl jobber, or what ever you call NBIS teachers. Even by Cambodia standards.
