Naked American Arrested Walking Around Phnom Penh, Cambodia (VIDEO)

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

#2 He desperately needs the US embassy to get him back to the states.

This is not a drug issue at all. It is a veteran mental issue and he needs help that is not available in country.

This is the problem when "CEOCambodiaNews" posts translations of news stories without crediting the original source. No one can verify whether the translation is accurate. A few weeks back there was a CEOCambodianews translation about Kiwis flying drones, it turns out they were Dutch.

Friends, family members and drug users are often quite sure that their drug overdoses are not drug related.

He's really thin, he's in Cambodia, he's acting crazy, it's presumably drugs. You shouldn't rule out drugs just because you talked to him a couple of times and didn't think he was under the influence of drugs.

I agree. I dont live with the guy so I dont know what he does. But I do know where he was the prior 48 hours leading up to todays events and drugs dont seem like a possibility in the supervised setting he was in.

Again he needs mental help from the VA not available in Cambodia and the US seems unwilling to do anything for their citizen after multiple calls.

Supervised setting? By who? Rick and Morty or the guy in Kampot with amnesia?
