John D. Wilson from the FBI visits Cambodian National Police
Phnom Penh: On Feb. 7, 2018, Gen. Gen. Neth Savoeun, National Police Chief of Police, welcomed Mr. John D.Wilson, US Department of Justice, FBI, to talks on bi-national cooperation on criminals at the National Police Commissariat.
The two sides agreed to establish a MOU to prevent all types of cross-border crimes.
His Excellency General Gen. Neth Savoeun expressed his pleasure at participating in the cooperation, especially the exchange of information and sharing experiences in preventing and combating crimes in the past.
John D.Wilson also thanked once again the Cambodian police for their cooperation on the extradition of American criminals who have committed child sex crimes in Cambodia, and it was agreed that continued cooperation would benefit both countries.

A team from the DEA come to town for a meeting with their Cambodian counterparts.
PHNOM PENH
Tuesday 20 March, 4:30pm - A meeting was held today between Cambodia anti-drug authorities and three members of the DEA (US Drug Enforcement Agency).
Both teams thanked the other for all their hard work and cooperation in combating cross-border crime. But in particular, the DEA expressed its deep gratitude to His Excellency Mok Chito, Deputy General Manager and Anti-Narcotics Compliance Officer.
Both teams expressed willingness to continue the cooperation between the two countries.

That's good to hear. Besides the rhetoric we often hear these days, there is still a lot of co-operation going on. When it comes to law enforcement that's important. I don't want fugitives living here. The downside of the whole thing is we get the Khmerican gangbangers who were never registered for citizenship. Some of them did their time way back and were leading normal lives but still got picked up by ICE agents. Others are mad bastards, but we'll just have to get along!
