Believe it or not, Nigel Hunkin has form for this exact sort of thing.

Back in 2010, Hunkin was the subject of a legal action for unfair dismissal filed by a Mr. Cataroche, who had been working for Mr. Hunkin in Guernsey as an electrician.

The facts are set forth in this decision of the Employment & Discrimination Tribunal.

Mr. Cataroche claimed that he was sacked during a drunken midnight phone call from Hunkin, and that, during that call, Hunkin threatened to kill him (Sections 2.6; 4.21). This phone call was witnessed by a Mr. Le Ray, who was present with Mr. Cataroche, and who overheard him respond to Hunkin “So you’re getting someone over from the UK to do me in” (Section 4.27)

Hunkin denied the allegations, but the tribunal found Mr. Cataroche and Mr. Le Ray more credible and awarded Mr. Cataroche £14,258.50.

That's pretty insane that he's been threatening to pay people to have them killed for at least 8 years now. Even a court said they didn't believe this lying piece of shit.

Nigel Hunkin sounds like he can't find a place more fitting for himself than Pattaya.

And yes, MicMac, it's reasons like this that I have no qualms about running stories on CEO that aren't as bright and happy as maybe a story about new art cafes in Phnom Penh where you can sip wine and finger paint, but these stories need to be shared as well, if not more so.

I've had the misfortune to encounter some brain dead boguns in my time, but fortunately never encountered someone like this. I didn't realize that, that level of "brain dead" existed. Is this symptomatic of Pattaya?
