Two Cambodian migrant workers were killed and 12 injured in the early hours of Feb. 2 in an accident Sa Kaeo, Thailand.

The car in which they were travelling overturned, trapping a man and a woman underneath it. They did not survive their injuries. A dozen passengers, one of them an infant girl, were injured and sent to a nearby hospital.

The Bangkok Post wrote that victims were undocumented workers. The Thai police found that they had crossed into Ta Phraya district and were on their way to work in central Pathum Thani province.

14 in the car? Not much operating room for the driver to react.

Plenty of illegal workers employed in Thailand, Plenty of agents in Cambodia handle the employers requests rather than go thru legal channels.

FYI; average cost for a LEGAL migrant worker (Burmese,Cambodian ,Laos) is 22,000 baht, includes 2 year L-a Visa, wp and thai health card
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I know. I used to see a woman who was an agent for illegal workers. Said she grossed 1 million baht a month, but she said she was separated, too. She lives in Pathum Thani.
