cost for driving school??

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Can't you figure out how to jump red lights and drive on the wrong side of the road without lessons?
Those are actually serious skills! Took me years to develop them
The real test of tests is learning how to evade a police check-point.

Get that one down and everything else is gravy.
or alternatively obey the law and enjoy the frustration of the policeman as he realises there is nothing he can do you for
Me thinks you have a rich fantasy life!

You should try it sometime. Funny how no one likes foreigners disregarding our laws at home but think they have the perfect right to break the law here

I understand what you're saying. I've felt that way at times when I see a foreigner gaming the system. If you knew me you would know that I think I don't have any rights here, breaking the law or otherwise. I just do what works, as long as it's not hurting anyone.

The thought of stopping for some money-grubbing corrupt cop in a third world country to try to prove to them a moralistic point that I will probably lose and they certainly won't care about, or remember, is not how I want to spend my time.

To each his own. :beer2:

This! As long as you are not driving on red, on a one-way street in the opposite direction, and wear helmet (guilty of all those in previous life) - the cops leave you alone. I even have my favorite traffic cop on the intersection in front of my office stop traffic on red for me sometimes :D
