After work drinks - where do you go?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Jamie you can stop with the 'best English brekkie" shit; we're onto you lad. Your true brekky is the last drink at sunrise.
maybe the experts could do a CEO google map of watering holes. FFS do not include it in the Chinese translated version though
Well you canot eat in Sharkeys unless you are rich. been there twice, cant say I like it because it look like Bolton working mans club inside, fake brick wallpaper  and taken out most of the pool tables. But it is a work in progress. might be nice when its finished

In TTP the best/most popular after work drinking spot is Ellys Bar on 135.

Another factor would be the type of work, ie. low paid TEFLERS aren’t going to be going for after work drinks at places like Oskars, Larry’s, Le Bouchon, etc...they’re going to drink where the beer is cheaper, places like Blue Dog, The Irish Place, etc.
The Irish place was more dive than dive bar last time I was there, this was before the chef? (was he chef?) topped himself. Need a tetanus jab after being in there.

not sure if it is anymore, but last time i was in PP used to have an early dinner at Larry's.
seems half the clientele there were in ties and jackets.

Larry's is ok when you come with friends, it is definitely a head-turning place :)
