PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) - The military operation of the Military Police Force, which has been in place for three consecutive days from Svay Rieng to Phnom Penh, has captured one mastermind and seven accomplices and seized more than 5 kilograms of drugs, one weapon and many other exhibits. The operation took place two times in Chroy Changvar and Khan Chamkar Morn, Phnom Penh.

The operation was carried out from the night of the 20th to the 22nd of January, 2018, by the Royal Gendarmerie forces in cooperation with the Royal Gendarmerie of the Royal Gendarmerie of Phnom Penh and the Royal Armed Forces of Chroy Changva District, facilitated by Deputy Prosecutor Soeun Monirath.

According to the police the evidence included 2 packs dried leaves, 6 big pack of clear powder 49,1g , orange pill 189.6 g, 1 necklace, a motorbike, a car, a P230 handgun, 1 flashlight, and money 8500 USD, 450,000 Riel and Vietnamese Money.
